No one in my system was created intentionally or with any kind of purpose
1:05 AM
There is no reason for them to exist
1:05 AM
That’s not meant to be a joke or insulting them, it’s literally just the truth
1:07 AM
Everyone is important and life would suck a little bit more if I didn’t have them around but they aren’t there to be my friends. They are, but they weren’t ‘made’ to be.
1:09 AM
The only reason I have a system now really only boils down to just me feeling guilty
Long story made extremely short
Was just trying to roleplay
Accidentally makes tulpas, doesn’t know what tulpas are
Completely fucked over Error and made him really mad at me
I’m fucking terrified of him and don’t know what to do about it
I feel like shit and want to make amends
Took an actual IRL year to do so
Now I’m here(edited)

That's a similar situation to what our original got themselves into 4 years ago (Luci became sentient 5 years back but it took a year for our original to figure out that Luci was a person with feelings) with their tulpa Lucifer, they keep a respectful distance from each other now(edited)

That's understandable. A lot of us in our system wouldn't get along, not because we dislike one another, but because we don't share any common interests.

Or at least, enough common interests to warrant friendship.

It's funny with Ben and Seth, though. They have many opposing traits, but the similarities they do have compliment one another.
Hey yall. I have found active forcing to be especially difficult today. It is hard to explain but everything is chaotic and messy. Passive forcing has been a breeze though. Is there a reason for this?(edited)
question! so im currently creating a tulpa named deimos, he's chill and already talking, tho ofc we still have a while to go. he's a little anti social with a low social battery. is it natural for tulpas to not really be when not actively thinking about them in the beginning? like i have to call on him.
i already have some tulpa experience, but not necessarily on purpose + i have no idea where they went. so it's a bit weirder to actually be aware of the beginning stages
Hay everyone, I'm sorry but I don't know if anyone asked about this before, but do you guys believe in shifting? And if you do have you ever shifted to your wonderland to see your tulpa? Because I'm curious if my Tulpa will be there in my DR or it well be just a normal character that looks like my tulpa

do you mean being able to see your tulpa physically in ur dr? if so then yes, they're going to behave and look exactly like your tulpa unless you script them differently. they're literally your tulpa, just in a different reality,, they're basically the same person im not sure how to explain i hope this was clear enough
im not too sure if your tulpa can "shift" with you (as in them staying in your mind if you shift) as shifting is basically just moving your awareness from one reality to another
if you scripted to have them still be there in your mind, they might be slightly(?) different from the tulpa in your cr
i might try to experiment on this but for now this is all of the information i have
sorry for the late response

this is just my theory, so take it with a grain of salt. this may or may not be true
@Sellato - jump
i’m asking what you mean by that so i don’t make any assumptions

Can your tulpa hang out in their own wonderland outside your attention? Ultimately I don't know. I know many people have reported that experience, and while I'm skeptical I think there is something interesting going on for sure. Even if it's not exactly what you expect, it could be a lot of fun.
As for reality shifting literally transporting you to another world? No, I do not.

Thanks, I liked your theory, and yeah I think your right it makes more sense for him to be out of my mind because his literally in front of me, I do believe that my tulpa has his own life in Wonderland, so it's gonna be like visiting him in his world

I mean yeah it's like reality shifting, you imagine the world you wanna shift to and the script is gonna be your wonderland and that you meet your tulpa there
I personally don't have a strong stance on reality shifting but i tend to think it's just an intense state of altered consciousness
I've been trying to "shift" (as well as lucid dream) to my wonderland to hang out with my headmates for a while now and it hasn't worked so far but i'll update you if it does
what you are describing to me would be in the approach and effect indistinguishable from daydreaming with developed phantasia, with additional narrative on top of thag

so i do believe it is possible but you might be misguided as to what is actually happening and what stands behind your experience
I'm very curious what their context is. Sometimes a dissipation situation becomes a stasis or just resolve some problem with your tulpas situation.
Otherwise, while refusing to let your tulpa be active is definitely part of the process, I think the overall process includes more steps. Some hosts need to grieve, even if they don't having the tulpa understand what's going on can give a sense of closure. There's also symbolism (no need for anything violent) and then post-dissipation (including not panicking if you see your tulpa show up spontaneously)
I wasn't around for that question hence me chiming in with more detail
9:49 AM
But given how I am, an in-depth discussion a month ago on dissipation is worth another in-depth explanation in my eyes. I don't think tulpamancy topics wear me out as much
As for dissipation timeframes- I think a tulpa's sense of self and their will to exist play a role in how effective the dissipation is. When Spirit dissipated himself, he was actually falling apart while he was telling people goodbye. Over the span of 3 weeks, he went from stable to a very, very weak tulpa. Jasper used to be an active member of our system, but he struggled with his sense of self and when he dissipated quickly there wasn't much left to cause problems. While Spirit and Jasper were older tulpas who's ages don't reflect their development, they both had at least several months worth of forcing under their belt and were comparable to a tulpa younger than a year old. It's also worth keeping in mind both of them lead the process however
I don't know if the brain has an official neuron "deconstruction" process or not, but that's what happened for us (edited)
Can I ask, when your first start to actually hear your tulpa, is it kinda scary/freaky a little? I feel I might not really like hearing voices so I'm still unsure but idek if I actually have a tulpa tbh
uMmm for me their voices sounded very similar to mine and it took a lot of sorting to separate us?
my recommendation would be to sit down somewhere quiet and talk to the other voices. as skyler said, vibe check
